Alayne…BIG CONGRATULATIONS…I had no idea your book was due out…this is fabulous. I’ve shared on FB and Twitter…but you don’t have to include me in the critique giveaway since we are already crit buddies. 🙂
Thank you for sharing and for the big congrats! Do you want to be in the drawing for the book?
Congrats, Alayne! I can’t wait to get my book. The kid lit world is getting smaller and smaller! I’m a crit buddy with Vivian too. But since I am not one of yours (although we ARE Spork sisters), I would love to enter to win a critique. Congrats, and I can’t wait to see you in N. Texas!
Thank you so much, Ellen. I will put your name in the hat for the critique, but any time you want a critique, I’d be happy to do one.
Alayne, I loved your reading of this!! This adorable character has so much voice! What a great book for kids! I’ll boost this on Twitter right now! Twitter is my favorite sharing venue!

Woohoo! Congratulations Alayne. I too loved hearing you read your story. Sienna is such a character with real cowgirl swagger and language that was a real hoot. Would love to get this to read myself. I’m also sure my little great niece who turns one tomorrow would really enjoy this when she is old enough to read
Thank you, Diane. I love hearing that you got a kick out of Sienna. She truly does feel like my child at this point, so any compliment touches my heart 😉 I will be sure your name is in the hat for the book giveaway drawing.

HI Alayne, When I woke up today, I felt it was going to be another wet, cold day, but I sat down at my computer to read emails as usual and Whoa!
Who knew I’d end up crying at the beautiful blog that greeted me. And who knew that a blog could be so inspiring, and who knew I’d end up happy. I thank you for your beautiful books and for your encouragement in spite of a rocky year. Blessings to you and your family. Sincerely, Joan Sloane
Thank you, Joan. You are too kind. I am thrilled that my blog made you happy. Who could ask for more. I really appreciate you taking time to give it a look and comment.
